Shaping Future Leaders: Why TMSAs STEAM & Character Education Model is a GAME CHANGER for students
TMSA Public Charter Schools is North Carolina's growing network of high-performing non-profit public charter schools focusing on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics). This robust network of schools has made a dynamic impact in the quality of education in North Carolina since 2008 and now serves more than 5200 students on eight different campuses - in Cary, Charlotte, Greensboro and Apex North Carolina!
TMSAs education model abides by three principles:
1. Excellence in STEAM: With a focus on science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math, TMSA graduates are prepared to solve the challenges of tomorrow and to succeed on any path they choose -- in college, careers, and life.
2. Whole Child Focus: Alongside rigorous academics, TMSA creates well-rounded human beings through character education, social-emotional learning, ethics, and athletics.
3. Inclusive Community: We celebrate our schools’ diversity as a strength, ensuring all are welcome, included, and feel safe to maximize their potential and to shape a better world.
