Introducing The Legal Kid Foundation: Empowering Youth Through The Rule of Law
Dawn Bizzell is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Legal Kid Foundation. The Legal Kid Foundation, is on a mission to empower youth by providing them with the knowledge, mentorship, and leadership skills they need to transform their futures. The foundation focuses on legal literacy, civic engagement, and social-emotional learning, helping young people understand their rights, overcome adversity, and recognize their inherent power to lead and create change.
Dawn believes that every child, regardless of background, deserves to see their potential reflected in the world around them. The Legal Kid Foundations provide programs that equip youth with the tools to break cycles of poverty, inequality, and injustice, giving them the confidence to not only navigate complex systems but to become advocates for themselves, their families, and their communities.
